Why do we sometimes go crazy over shoes?

So the birthday surprise we had for Doreen turned out pretty well. Everything went according to plan, except that everything was delayed by half an hour. But still.

There was cake. And my cheesy smile.

There was surprise and joy.

There was a drummer-boy who turned into a chick.

There was a scary head with a red scarf wrapped around it.

All in all, even though we were freezing out in the cold for a reeeally long time, it was fun. :)

Also, I survived wearing heels for both services! And, I danced and hopped in them too. Isn't that just a miracle?? Hahaha. Well, it did feel great being tall for those few hours, and being at eye level with the guys.

I say Sarah should wear heels more often. What say you? :)

So anyway with nothing much to do, I surfed the web for some pretty shoes. There's this local Australian shoe brand that hand-makes their shoes. Their shoes (heels, especially) always seem to be appearing in magazines, so I figured I'd check em out. PEEPTOESHOES

This is Miss Bloomingdale.

And this, is Miss Sarah. ME ME ME! :D

This is my favourite, Miss LAX. Super duper cute booties. :)

Oh and I also stumbled upon this website that sells Louboutin's! NET-A-PORTER. Made my heart skip a beat man. But those designer shoes are so damn expensive! I can only dream of the day when I can own em and not break my bank. Hmm..

My gosh. They're pretty!

Did you know the red soles are a signature of Louboutin's? Well yeah, I didn't know that until I watched the Shopaholic movie with the bunch last night.

Since Tricia was going to fly today; Billy, Roy and Tung were going to go for a road trip for 3 days, and since Kern was leaving for Milan soon, we had a little chilling session at Roy's last night. We ended up watching Confessions of a Shopaholic because I haven't watched it yet.

Had heaps of good-bye-hugs and tears (from me) coz I had a sudden realisation that I won't be seeing them for 3 weeks. Which is a very short yet long period of time, for me. :(

Went back to Sushi Ten for lunch today. Yes people, they have Sushi Ten in Melbourne too. :) This time, I brought Sean Ng along, who has never-ever tried Sushi Ten, and was really sceptical about how good it is. So when the food came, I watched him swallow it. And his first response was, "This is pretty good!" with a huge smile on his face. MUAHAHAH!

I was so afraid he might not like it, coz his expectations might have been boosted due to Master Chef and all the hype around it. He even went on saying how yumm it was about 2 more times after that. WOOHOOH!

So now you know why people like me, and Peak Sheng, and everybody else, love Sushi Ten so much. :)

Was supposed to go to the NGV to check out Salvador Dali's exhibition after that, but Ben & James weren't too keen, so we said we'd go Docklands instead. But then again, we figured there was nothing to do at Docklands, so we said we'd go to St Kilda beach instead. However, we got on the tram, passed 2 stops, and got off. Haha.

And from there, it became A Day of Random Fun With Sarah. Basically, I'd just spontaneously suggest a place to go, and we'd go there.

First, we went to the Cheesecake Shop, and since the cakes were not too expensive, the guys wanted to buy one whole cake and just sit down there and dig into it. Of course, that didn't happen, coz we were pretty stuffed from lunch. Maybe another day yeah? :D

Then it was off to BBB! Hi. In case you love coffee and wanna check out new places, do head to BROTHER BABA BUDAN on Little Bourke, between Elizabeth and Queen. Good good coffee. I mean, GOOD!
Got wooden chairs stuck on the ceiling too. Better pray they don't start raining down on ya the next time you go. :X

This is Ben Yap.

And this is James Cheng.

Together, they are Ben & James, my favourite guy-duo. They're housemates, and the closest of friends. They do heaps of things together, and occassionally dress alike too. And I love making fun of that. Wahahaha! :P

James wanted to take a pouring-sugar-into-the-coffee shot and this happened! HAHAHAHA.

Look mummy! I have a moustache!

Then along McKillop street, there was a haunted bookshop.
Yeah so I freaked out and didn't dare go in in the end. SERIOUSLY. I wouldn't wanna mess with whatever that was inside there la.

In fact, the whole street looked pretty much haunted too! :O

Walked to Degraves and hopped onto the City Circle tram. I guess that was where the day ended. All in all, that was pretty fun! Ehh ehh let's have another random day when I get back! :D

And and and! LOOK! A limited edition Mini Cooper Onitsuka's!
It may be unisex, but the design still looks pretty guyish though. I WANT! Ming Xian said Singapore has them, I have yet to see them in Melbourne shoe shops. I wonder if Malaysia has them.. Do they?

Crap man. I'm flying Wednesday and I haven't started packing and all that. Panic panic! I feel like just carrying my handbag home, so much easier, but we all know that's not possible. Tmrw, pack, then Avenue Q at night. Looks like Salvador Dali and the NGV exhibitions will have to wait till I get back in late July.

Cookies with milk, Simpsons, Jane Austen, sleep. Toods & smoochs! :)
